The Honda Africa Twin is powered by a 1082.96 cc, twin cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected, BS6 motor which churns out 97.89 bhp of power @7,500 rpm and 103 Nm of torque @6,000 rpm. Ans as we told the gearbox is mated to 6-speed manual and DCT transmission. The fuel tank of the 2021 BS6 Honda Africa Twin is at 24.5-L. The 2021 BS6 Honda Africa Twin gets 6.6 inch TFT display which packs utmost features like the Android Auto, Apple Car Play, navigation, riding modes, Bluetooth smartphone/audio connectivity etc..

The Africa Twin incorporates adventure, especially with its long-travel front suspension. The inverted Showa fork is fully adjustable with huge 45 mm tubes. The 43 degrees of steering lock both left and right provides excellent maneuverability on tight trails. At the rear end, its fully adjustable Pro-Link suspension offers a 220 mm stroke.

The 2021 BS6 Honda Africa Twin gets Throttle By Wire (Ride By Wire or Drive By Wire) thus the bike also gets several riding modes like Tour, Urban, Gravel, Off-Road, User 1 and User 2. These modes comes handy in different situations.

2021 BS6 Honda Africa Twin offers two ABS modes: on-road and off-road. A third setting lets you turn the rear ABS off altogether for riding in the dirt. The Africa Twin’s Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) comes standard integrated with a 6-axis IMU, it knows when you’re leaning over, and compensates accordingly. The four-piston brake calipers in the radial-mount design also helps in accurate and reliable braking. The Africa Twin also features an Emergency Stop Signal, which in case of emergency braking ensures the rider is visible to the oncoming traffic.

The 2021 BS6 Honda Africa Twin also sports dual LED headlights which throws very bright beams at night and cornering lights for better visibility in blind spots while cornering or taking aggressive lean angles.


The 2021 BS6 Honda Africa Twin comes with a 90/90 section tyre with 21 inch wheel at front and 150/70 section tyre with 18 inch wheel at rear. And both are Tubeless Radial tyres while the wheel type is spoke. A 310 mm 4-Piston callipered twin disc brakes at front and 256 mm 2-Piston callipered single disc brake at rear does the braking duty really well.


The 2021 BS6 Honda Africa Twin weighs 239 kgs with the dimension of 2307 mm length, 963 mm width, 1523 mm height, 1558 mm wheelbase, 210 mm ground clearance and 810 mm seat height. The bike is underpinned by a Semi Double Cradle frame chassis.
