This here is the Aston Martin DBX and it’s just been launched in India it’s Aston Martin’s first-ever SUV it cost rupees 3.75 crores for the base variant and look at it it’s absolutely gorgeous I’m gonna take you on a quick walk around of this car but before we do that make sure you subscribe to on all our social media platforms on youtube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, all of that.

let’s get on with it right let’s talk about the styling first up front there are distinct aston martin elements so the grill is actually very reminiscent of the db11 it’s the biggest grill ever fitted onto an aston martin and to match that big grill you’ve got the biggest badge ever fitted onto the aston martinit’s really quite something these headlamps they’re pretty slim when you look at the overall size of the car but they do give it a really distinct stance below that you’ve got these drl elements these drls are actually functional aero bits as well because they’ve got a vent in here in this vent it basically sucks in air and cools the brakesand it exits FROM SIDES, so all of this stuff isn’t just styling there’s a lot of functional bits going on the entire sculpture is very sculpted the whole body is very sculpted and this paint job is absolutely spectacular it’s called bronze satin solar bronze if i’m not wrong and it shifts in the light you can see purples blues yellows it’s really something another cool feature door handles that sit flush with the door, the door the doors actually open slightly upwards i don’t know if you can see that in the iMAGES but the doors they don’t open horizontally but they open slightly upwards and that’s so that you don’t cope the door when you’re opening,

It comes around to the back and you’ve got this swooping roofline Aston martin makes sporty cars and that continues on the DBX you’ve got this spoiler up here and a ducktail here and again these are functional aero bits they’re not just for style this bit here it actually pushes all the air down onto this windscreen and you’ll notice there’s no rear wiper and that’s because this air can actually wipe off any droplets of water that have collected on the glass below that is the ducted tail spoiler and all that air that’s been pushed down it gets activated on this duct tape spoiler and pushes the car to the ground so you get a lot of downforce from the back here you’ve got the aston martin badging twin tailpipes a lot of lovely detailing around the tailpipes there’s no fake diffusers or any of that it’s a really classy really well designed but classy gentlemanly automobile at the end of the day another really really nice feature on this car are the wheels

Aston Martin DBX WHEELS
Aston Martin DBX WHEELS

Just get a close look at the wheels they’re so detailed they’re really really nice these are called diamond ribbon wheels and it’s really something now the Aston Martin DBX is a big car in the pictures it actually is very deceiving when I saw the pictures I thought it was the size of a Porsche Macan but you actually look at it in the flesh it’s huge it’s over 5 meters long that’s longer than a Porsche cayenne and it really has a lot of presence on the road but Aston martin owners well they’re going to be spending a lot of their time inside the car so why don’t you get into the passenger seat I’m going to get in the driver’s seat and show you what it’s like in there.

Now, this is what the interiors of DBX look like it’s really really plush in here there’s leather everywhere let’s start with the seating position I like to sit really low down in my cars I like a really snug seating position and the DBX it allows that after all it does have sports cars in its jeans and you get into this really comfortable driving position really snug you’ve got this lovely leather-wrapped steering wheel metal paddles it’s all really really nice in here.

If we talk about Engine, That’s a four liter twin turbo v8 amg sourced but obviously aston martin has done their work to it to tune itthe way they like it here you’ve got a digital cockpit uh here you’ve got your instrument cluster this is actually again mercedes-benz so if you notice this is this rotary dial is from the old mercedes-benz uh infotainment system and that’s familiar but the rest of it is all bespoke astro martin and it’s really something this asa martin it has drive modes and being an suvyou’ve got terrain mode so you can put it in terrain plus and the suv will actually rise up on its air suspension but then there are obviously sportier modes as well so you can get into gt driving modethe individual driving mode which allows you to configure all of these little bits and then you get into sport modeand then you’re actually talking suv aston martin territory here you’ve got youraircon controls this little button here is interesting for easier ingress you can actually lower the car so you press this button and it’ll lower itself for easier ingress this is hill descent control again another off-road feature that is unique to the dbx and well the rest of it is just absolutely fabulous these seats they’re so comfortable so plush you know they hold you really well they’re really well supportive you’ve got a really nice sound system in here too but again nothing is very blatant and apparent it’s all hidden there’s no garish branding there’s actually a speaker in here too but you can’t even tell you know it’s allnicely integrated into the doors into the dashboard and it’s really beautiful in here let me show you the back seat as well.

Here’s the back seat with lest leg room, you’ve got a lot of room in here even headroom you know it’s not too bad you’ve got this panoramic sunroof that stretches all the way back here but wow, after all a lot of owners are going to be spending the time here and this is comfortable the bench also it’s it’s pretty low down it’s not very tall like on some other suvs you know which where you’re sitting and looking over the driverthat doesn’t happen here you’re sitting right behind the driver snug inside the cockpit you’ve got a fairly large windowgood amount of view on the outside and everything just feels so nice so you see these little bits the way they click the way they feel it all feels really premium two usb slots heredon’t don’t miss that and of course you’ve gotan armrest now the dbx it was built on a bespokeplatform right uh aston martin created this entire platform just for this car and it’s a really important car to aston martinthink of what porsche did with cayenne right before the cayenne they were in a bit of a fix but the cayenne sold like crazy and that allows them to build the cars they built today the gt3 rs the gt2 rs the 911 stuff like the 911r the gt3 touring cars like that are possible because the cayenne cell’s in big numbers and aston martin is hoping that the dbx does that for it as well it really is a a monster of a caryou look at the drive train of course all wheel drive layout 50 50 talk split but if you wanted to be a sports car you can send 100 percent of torque to the rear and in the rear they’ve got an edif so you can actually vary the torque not just front and rear but even left to right on the rear axle and that makes it a really potent car on the road we’ve not driven the car yet so i’m not going to say anything aboutwhat it’s like to drive but i’m assuming with all of that tech under the hood with that amg v8 it would be quite something right that’s it for our review walk around review of the aston martin dbx i’m going to spend some more time in here i’m really really comfortable maybe strap myself in get somebody to drive me around and you know just live the good life if you’re getting a DBX you’re going to be living a good.
