Bajaj Pulsar RS400 Launching in August 2020
The Bajaj Pulsar RS400 (SS400) is the most awaited motorcycle yet, It showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo in 2014. RS400 is about to get launched in August 2020 in the Indonesian Market. It will be getting the same engine as the Bajaj Dominar 400 and also getting sportier looks, which will be similar to that of the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200. We expect it to get more comfortable ergonomics than its younger sibling. It will weigh less than the Dominar 400, making it faster than the Dominar 400 and compete against Apache rr310, KTM rc390, Ninja 300, Yamaha R3.
So, as of now, Bajaj pulsar RS 200 is only the fully-faired motorcycle for the company. The Bajaj Company did not have any complete higher 400cc Powerful Sports bike. Because of this reason, the company is planning to launch RS400 for the mass market. Bajaj will launch it at a Challenging price tag, and RS400 will be the most Affordable or Value for money 400cc Sports bike in Market. It expected to get lower seats, which great for most of the Indians.
The all-new Bajaj Pulsar RS 400 would feature Twin LED Projector headlamps set-up, LED DRLs,& indicators, Dual-channel ABS, Bigger windshield, a fully digital instrument cluster with Gear shift indicator, Heat temp. It also comes with wider tyres, USD front fork, rear mono-shock, and the bigger disk brakes at both ends then the RS200. The front tyre of RS400 is 110 section and 150 section tyre at the back for providing more confidence on the corner & Better stability.
Pulsar RS400 is a Sports-Tourer category motorcycle. You can also go on along tour without any stretch because it gets Upright handlebars for comfortable riding posture the same as RS200.
And the Bajaj Pulsar 400 shares its engine with the Dominar 400. That’s the same engine we seen in motorcycles like the KTM Duke 390, Bajaj Dominar 400, and now in the Bajaj Pulsar RS 400.
So, the Bajaj Pulsar RS 400 powered by the 373.3cc triple spark, liquid-cooled fuel-injected single-cylinder BS-6 engine with slipper clutch, and mated with a 6-speed transmission. The engine set to produce around 40 bhp of power and 35nm of peak torque. This power is enough to do 0-100 in under 6 seconds (lol, that’s faster than the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavor, Range Rover Discovery Sport, and the majority of the cars which cost less than 15 lakhs!).
The bike will be launching in August 2020 for the Indonesian Market. Do you think it is going to come to India ever? We think so!
