Finally after all that wait, the BMW Motorrad has launched the BS6 models of their entry level bikes BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS. The bike gets revised pricing which makes it almost 50,000 cheaper than its predecessor. And also bike gets some additional features too which makes it value for money unlike its predecessor which was over priced like anything! So, now it makes sense to buy both of these bikes over its rivals the KTM Duke 390, Honda CB 300 (BS6 model is not launched yet) and Bajaj Dominar 400.
ERGONOMIC, SAFETY, BRAKES AND SUSPENSION:
Both the bikes are just excellent in terms of ergonomic and safety. Both gets dual disc and dual channel ABS as standard. Both gets 300 mm front disc and 240 mm rear disc along with 19 inch front wheel on the G 310 GS and 17 inch front wheel on the G 310 R, although rear wheel size of both the bikes remains the same at 17 inches. Both bike gets 4-piston front suspension and singe piston rear suspension.
The tyre size of the G 310 GS is 110/80 R19 at front and 150/70 R17 at rear. The tyre size of the G 310 R is 110/70 R17 at front and 150/60 R17. Both are tubeless alloy wheels. Both bike gets same suspension set up, 41 mm USD forks up front and Cast Aluminium dual swing arm at rear.
