FEATURES:

The BS6 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is not a feature loaded bike in any angle. Because this cruiser is available for just 3 lakhs. So you are getting the twin cylinder power for a very low price. If company filled this bike with so much features and electronics, the price would have been gone so high.

For reference, the BS6 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 gets most of the basic features like, dual channel ABS, Automatic Headlight On, Analog speedometer & Tachometer, digital odometer, fuel gauge, 2 digital trip meters, low fuel, oil, battery indicator and engine kill switch. But the bike misses out on some of the basic features which this kind of a bike should have.

ENGINE, TYRES AND WHEELS

The BS6 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is powered by a 648 cc, 4-stroke, twin cylinder, air/oil cooled, fuel injected, BS6 motor which puts out 47 bhp of power @ 7250 rpm and 52 Nm of torque @ 5250 rpm while the transmission duty is done by a 6-speed manual gearbox. The bike doesn’t heat up much as the compression ratio is low at 9.5:1. The bike has 13.7-L fuel tank and 25 kmpl of mileage, thus it provides decent touring range.

BS6 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 gets 18 inch wheels at both front and rear with 100/90 section tyre at front and 130/70 tyres at rear. Both are tubed non radial tyres and wheel type is spoke.

BRAKES, DIMENSION AND SUSPENSION:

The BS6 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 has 41 mm dia front fork with a travel of 110 mm and twin coil shocks at rear with a travel of 88 mm. The bike gets 320 mm single front disc brake and 240 mm single rear disc brake. Both are provided with ABS (Anti-lock Braking System).

The The BS6 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is at heavier side by weighing 202 kgs. The bike has 2122 mm length, 789 mm width, 1165 mm height, 1400 mm wheelbase, 174 mm ground clearance and 804 mm seat height while the bike is underpinned by a steel tubular double cradle frame chassis.
