Hero launched their power commuter bike Glamour in 2008. Now in 2020, it has got several small updates and serving its owner in the form of BS6. So, read further to know what are all the changes done and what are all the features available in the BS6 Hero Glamour.

So the BS6 Hero Glamour is available in 2 variants, Drum BS6 (88,491 on-road) and Disc BS6 (92,512 on-road). The bike is made for daily commuting with some amazing power on-offer. It has got ample amount of torque to maneuver through the city traffic and all that 10.6 nm of torque is available in early 6,000 rpm, so you don’t have to ring the throttle too much to get all those power. The lightweight body of the bike makes it easier to ride even through the bumper to bumper traffic.

Glamour is available in 4 different colors:

  2. Tornado Grey
  3. Techno Blue
  4. Radiant Red

Prominent Features:

The bike has got i3S technology which makes your ride very efficient. The bike have also got fuel injection system which results in better acceleration and better fuel economy due to better fuel delivery. The bike also have got more refined than its predecessor. There are not so vibration if we compare it to the BS4 model. IBS adds on to the braking part of the bike for better stopping power.

The bike also have got auto sail for smoother city rides. The bike also gets wider rear tyre than its competition. 5-speed gearbox and the powerful 125 cc engine are some of its pros. Combination of Digital and Analog console consists of mileage indicator, Fuel Gauge, 2 trip meters, low fuel indicator and a Clock. The bike also gets DRLs (Daytime Running Lights). Automatic Headlight on makes your job easy while cruising at night!

Cons:

No vehicle is perfect. If one has Pros it also has some Cons which you should know about before buying it. But the Hero Glamour doesn’t have too many Cons which could become a deal breaker for someone. But its our duty to let you know all the features, good point, bad points and everything about the machine.

Verdict

If you want a commuter bike with some power, then you can easily choose the BS6 Hero Glamour. The bike gets wider 100 section rear tyre and disc brake at front. The bike also gets automatic headlight on feature. If you want any other bike with some more power, then  you can also have a look at the Honda SP 125, Honda Shine and Bajaj Pulsar 125.
