The price of BS6 Hero Passion Pro starts from 82,196 (drum) to 84,724 (disc) on-road Mangalore. The bike competes with heavily refined Honda Shine, Honda SP 125, Honda Livo, legendary offering from Hero which is Splendor Plus and Hero Glamour.
SP 125, Shine and the Glamour produces more power than that of Passion Pro and also priced slightly higher. If you want a budget commuter bike which looks great and gives excellent mileage figures, then you can consider buying this bike without any hesitation. But the problem with this bike is vibration. It gives you some vibration in the top end (but gently reduced if we consider the BS4 model) and some of its customers are not happy with the service. But the plus point on this bike is that it lasts forever. A lot of people have ridden it more than a lakh kilometres and still they are happy with the product. The bike has amazing some amazing tank range (which is over 600 kilometres) which reduces the headache of refueling it very often. And you shouldn’t be worried about the servicing because there are so many service centers of Hero throughout India.
The Hero Passion Pro is available in 4 different color options.
HEAVY GREY METALLIC
The bike is very light weight which makes it easier to maneuver in any kind of traffic. And the bike also doesn’t fall heavy in the pockets as well. These are all some of the reasons why the Hero Passion Pro is selling so much from years now. The bike has got updated with new styling, new graphics, new color schemes and fuel injection system which makes it very smoother and thus it has improved acceleration than before. The bike is actually based on the Splendor i-Smart 110, which didn’t got sold much (we are not talking about the legendary Splendor Plus).
So the verdict is, if you want a good commuter bike with excellent mileage and don’t want to loos power, then this will be the best option for you guys.
