So Honda launched their new cruiser bike, the H’ness earlier this month. The bike seems to be an impressive product both in terms of mechanical factor and visual factor. The gets lots of features with sets of some amazing colours. The bike is available in 2 variants which includes DLX and the DLX pro variant. DLX is available in single colour shade where as the DLX Pro is available in dual tone shade.
Mechanicals, Tyres, Brakes and Suspension:
Mechanically, the Honda H’ness CB350 is powered by a 348.36 cc 4-Stroke, Single Cylinder, Air Cooled, Fuel Injected, BS6 motor which churns out 20.78 bhp of power and 30 Nm of torque. And this smooth 350 cc engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The bore and stroke of the bike is 70 mm and 90.5 mm respectively. The engine has 9:5:1 compression ration which is not too much. So, this is not a high compression engine, so there is no major heating issue to defend.
The Honda H’ness comes with dual disc with dual channel ABS too. The front 19 inch wheel is gripped with a 100/90-19 cross section tyre while the rear 18 inch wheel is gripped with a wider 130/70-18 cross section tyre. The 310 mm front disc and 240 mm rear disc brakes does the braking duty without any hesitation.
