New Suzuki Gixxer SF155 BS6 Launched:
Finally, the Suzuki Motors India has launched Bs6 version of the new Suzuki Gixxer Sf 155 with two new Dual-Tone Colours Red/Black and Grey/Black. Gixxer Sf 155 available now at price tag of 1.40 Lakh Ex-showroom Delhi. All other mechanical specifications remains unchanged.
Performance, Dimension and Mechanicals:
Powering the new Suzuki Gixxer SF is a 155 cc four-stroke, single cylinder, air cooled, fuel injected, BS6 motor which produces 13.4 bhp of power @8,000 rpm and 13.8 Nm of torque @6,000 rpm. This 155 cc engine is mated to 5-speed manual gearbox. The bike is loosing its power as its getting upgraded to its desired emission norm standards. The bike weighs just 148 kg, this is one of the pros of this bike. If we talk about the engine, its very refined and lasts decades! You’ll not get any problems with this bike and built quality is also decent. The bike might not have the best power in its segment, but it definitely has one of the best engine in 150-160 cc bike category.
The bike has 12 litres fuel tank and gives you around 45-47 kmpl of mileage easily. The bike gets disc brakes at front and rear. The bike also gets 17 inch wheels at front and rear with the size of 100/80-17 and 140/60-R17 respectively, while the wheel type is tubeless radial. The bike gets telescopic forks at front and Swing Arm at rear as suspension setup.

Reliability and Comfort in City and Highway Ride:
As it is a Japanese bike, you’ll not face any issue regarding engine smoothness and reliability. The engine is very calm, relaxed and smooth also. There is not much vibration in the rev band which makes it a good choice over some of its competitors.
There is not much to talk about city rides because, this is a faired bike and it has most of its power coming out at mid range of the power band. So, if you want a bike just for city usage and not for any travels out side of city, then it might disappoint you. So, there are some options to look for city rides like the Hero Xtreme 160 r, Honda Hornet 2.0, Honda X-Blade etc.
If you want to ride in relaxed manner out on the highway, then the Suzuki Gixxer SF won’t disappoint you for sure. But if you want to rev the nuts of it and you want that instant pickup and higher top speeds all the given time, then this might not be the best choice for you guys. This machine is for those who want some fun in every corner at the same time they also want a smooth and relaxed bike which can do 100-105 kmph easily, then this is gonna be your best friend.
