There are lots of bike launches which should have got launched this year. But due to this pandemic, the launch have got delayed and companies pushed the launches to 2021. So, here is the list of top 10 motorcycles which are launching in 2021.
Bajaj Neuron 400
This will be the retro looking bike from Bajaj. The bike is expected to launch in March 2021 and will be priced around 2.0-2.20 lakhs ex-showroom. Bajaj has started working on this bike and we have to be prepared for this surprise from Bajaj. You might think that this bike will get that 400 cc KTM engine which is also there in the Dominar 400. But this will be the different air cooled engine.
Honda PCX 125
The new scooter from the Japanese manufacturer Honda is getting launched in early 2021. The bike is expected to launch in January 2021 with the price range of around 85,000-1,10,000 ex-showroom. The Honda PCX 125 is powered by a 124.9 cc 4-stroke, single cylinder, petrol engine. That 125 cc engine produces 11.17 bhp of power @ 8,000 rpm and 11.56 Nm of torque @ 6,000 rpm. The gearbox is CVT automatic which we see in other scooters also. The new Honda PCX 125 will be having 761 mm seat height and 135 mm ground clearance. The kerb weight of the scooter will be around 125 kgs and the fuel tank capacity of the scooter will be at 6.2 litres.
KTM 250 Adventure
One of the most awaited bikes from KTM will finally be launched on December 2020 or in the 1st week of January 2021. This will get the same power-train as the Duke 250 and the Dominar 250. The expected price for this adventure bike KTM will be around 2.5 lakhs ex-showroom. Like its elder sibling it might also get lots of Indian buyers attention as an affordable entry level adventure bike from KTM.
TVS Apache RTR 310
The naked sibling of the RR 310 likely to be launched in Indian market in early 2021. This will get the same engine as that of RR 310 and BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS. You can expect the pricing of this bike to be less than the RR 310 as a result, it will be having better out ride acceleration. The TVS RTR 310 will be having a 312.2 cc 4-stroke, single cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected motor which puts out 33 bhp of power and 27.3 Nm of torque and the engine will be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The bike will also get riding modes like its faired sibling.
Bajaj Pulsar NS 250
The Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 is one of the most loved Pulsar. Now, this will also be getting the 250 cc engine which is there in the Duke and Dominar 250 with different tuning. This bike is expected to be launched in the middle of 2021 and could be priced less than the Dominar 250. Aprilia Tuono 660
Aprilia Tuono 660 is a middle weight sports bike from an Italian brand Aprilia. The bike is expected to get launched on January 2021 at the price bracket of 8.5-9.5 lakhs ex-showroom. The Aprilia Tuono 660 will be powered by a 660 cc 4-stroke, parallel-twin engine, which is expected to produce over 100 bhp of power! The bike will aim those buyers who are looking for a sports tourer motorcycle.
Aprilia RS 150
Another motorcycle from Aprilia, the RS 150 is also getting launched in early 2021. The bike was actually be launching on this year if it was not pandemic which is ruining every launches. So, now the bike is expected to launch on January 2021 at a price of around 1.45 lakhs ex-showroom. The bike will rival the Yamaha R15 V3 which is actually there in Indian market. The Aprilia RS 150 is powered by a 150 cc 4-stroke, single cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected motor which puts out 18.08 ps of maximum power and 14 Nm of maximum torque. The bike will get dual channel ABS as standard and will get 6-speed manual transmission.
After failure of GT 250 and GT 650, Hyosung is again trying to capture the Indian market with their GD250N. So this time the company is likely to price this product aggressively unlike the GT 650 and 250. So the Hyosung GD250N is powered by a 249 cc engine which produces 27 bhp of power and 24 Nm of torque and the engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.. If the company launches this bike for around 1.6 lakhs ex-showroom, it is going to kill the market for sure. The bike is expected to launh on January 2021.
The most awaited middle weight street fighter motorcycle from Honda will be launching on January 2021 for around 7.4-8.0 lakhs ex-showroom. The bike will get some premium features like SFF BP front forks etc.. The bike will get a inline-four cylinder engine like its faired sibling. The Honda CB650R is powered by a 649 cc, inline-four cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected engine which puts out 93.8 bhp of power and 63 Nm of torque. The bike will also gets 310 mm dual disc brakes at front and 240 mm rotor at rear. The bike will also gets Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and dual channel ABS as safety aids.
Another much awaited bike, the faired sibling of the CB300R which was there in Indian market will be launching on February 2021 at the price range of around 2.0-2.3 lakhs ex-showroom. The bike is powered by a 286 cc single cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected motor which produces 30 bhp of power and 27 Nm of torque. This 300 cc engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The bike will also gets disc brakes at both front and rear.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R SE
Another superbike from Kawasaki is all set to join the ZX territory which is well known for its power. The new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R SE will be having the same engine as its sibling. So, it is powered by a 998 cc, inline four cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected motor which produces 197.3 bhp of power and 113.5 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed maunal transmission. The bike has 835 mm of seat height, 145 mm ground clearance and weighs 206 kgs. The fuel tank tank capacity of the bike will be 17 litres. The company will charge you premium for this bike. The bike is expected to launch on February 2021 for around 20-22 lakhs ex-showroom! Triumph Tiger 1200
The king of adventure bikes is all set to get launched in March of 2021 for around 17.5-19.0 lakhs ex-showroom. The Triumph Tiger 1200 is powered by a 1215 cc inline-3 cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected motor which produces 139 bhp of power and 122 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to 6-speed manual transmission. The bike gets so many features and the aesthetic looks of this beast is also very good.
The sports tourer from Ducati is will get launched in March 2021. The expected pricing of the bike is around 13.0-13.5 lakhs ex-showroom. The bike lots of equipment and features. The Ducati SuperSport is powered by a 937 cc, 4-stroke, v-twin, liquid cooledm fuel injected motor which puts out 110 bhp of power and 97 Nm of torque. The bike is also ideal for travel purposes unlike the other faired Ducati motorcycles which are too aggressive to ride and suitable for track days only.
Benelli 302R BS6
Benelli’s 300 cc sports tourer, the 302R BS6 will get launched in Indian market on March 2021. The design language and all other mechanical specs of the bike will be more or less the same as its BS4 counter part. The Benelli 302R is powered by a 300 cc 4-stroke, inline-2 cylinder, water cooled, fuel injected, DOHC, 8 Valve petrol engine which produces 38.26 bhp of power and 26.5 Nm of torque. The main positive point of the bike is its exhaust. You have to hear it personally to experience the exhaust note of this bike. Not a single bike in this category can match this bike in terms of exhaust.
