1. Yamaha 250 cc Adventure Bike
The first bike is Yamaha adventure 250. According to the recent auto market report Yamaha is planning to enter in 250cc adventure bike segment. The bike will be based on current FZ-25 which is on sale in India.
One another reason for launching this bike is that many companies already have adventure bikes in this segment. And they are offering the best off-roading performance, the market value and demand of those bikes are very high, looking at the same demands Yamaha is planning to enter in this 250cc adventure segment. Name of some companies who conquered in the adventure segments are KTM, Bajaj, Hero MotoCorp, as well as Suzuki.
Yamaha Yzf FZ-25 Based Adventure bike will come with the same engine performance – oil Cooled 249cc single-cylinder SOHC engine that generates 20.3 bhp of max power and 20nm of torque mated with the 5-speed transmission. Also, the motor fulfills with BS6 emission norms.
Adventure 25 will be loaded with features such as Dual-Channel ABS as Standard, All LED Headlamps Setup, Fully digital instrument console, Real-time mileage, and also equipped with Yamaha blue core technology which improves mileage of the bike. Adventure -25 will compete against KTM 250 adventure, SUZUKI V-STROM 250, Xpulse 300. So the bike will get launched for around 1.6 lakh Ex-showroom Delhi.
2.New Yamaha YZF R3
Yamaha R3 has always been a favorite bike among the enthusiasts. As you know, Yamaha R3 BS4 bike has discontinued. And now, Yamaha is going to launch the BS6 variant of R3 in the Indian market. And now it is getting a fresh look with BS6 emission standard engine, it will also get new fairing, new Led headlights setup, and new tail-light as well.
Yamaha YZF R3 one of the best bikes in the 300cc segment and better than its rivals Duke 390, Ninja 300, Dominar 400, Ninja 400. It’s an inline two-cylinder engine bike.
When we talk About Yamaha, the first thought that comes in our mind is engine smoothness and reliability. Powering the new Yamaha R3 is the same 321cc liquid-cooled fuel-injected parallel-twin engine, which packs 42 bhp and 29.6 nm of torque. The motor is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The bike also has slipper clutch as standard.
Yamaha has not revealed the launch date of the new BS6 compliant Yamaha R3 yet. But, the updated Yamaha R3 made its debut for the international market in 2019. But there is not a single sign of launch date of this bike for the Indian market. But according to rumors, it will be launched after lockdown or early 2021 for the Indian market. And we guess that the pricing of the new R3 will be slightly higher than its predecessor and will get launched at the price tag of approx 3.70 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
3. Yamaha XSR 155
Third bike of this list is the Yamaha XRS 155. The company used the same 155cc single-cylinder engine that fitted to Yamaha MT-15 and R15 V3.0 for this bike. The bike comes with single-cylinder, 4-stroke, SOHC, liquid-cooled engine. In terms of the design, the new XSR 155 is inspired by its sibling XSR 700 and XSR 900.
This is a classic-retro look bike and this bike gets many new modern features at INR 1.4 lakh (ex-showroom) price tag. This bike is already available in many countries.
4. Yamaha NMax 155 Scooter
Yamaha NMax 115 is a scooter in the 155cc segment by Yamaha Yamaha already launched this scooter in the Indonesian market. The company used the same 155cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that used in R15 V3.0, MT-15. This scooter is fully feature loaded like as TCS(traction control system), dual channel ABS, Stop and start system, digital speedometer, smart key, and Bluetooth connectivity these all features are available in Indonesian unit. And Yamaha is going to launch this scooter in India in upcoming days.
