Yamaha has launched the FZS with a brand new colour to make it fresher. The new colour edition of the bike is called as Vintage Edition. This edition comes with Vintage Green Colour and it costs 1,09,700/- (ex-showroom).
Every other aspects of the bike remains unchanged be it mechanical specs or aesthetic appeal. The bike will be available at Yamaha dealership across India from first week of December 2020.
The new colour of the bike looks really good on this bike. The new Colour and Graphics might also increase the sales of the bike for some extent. The new edition packs a new Vintage Green Colour, New Graphics and Leather Finished Seat cover. This edition is only available with the top of the line FZS FI and not available on the regular FZ. This new edition also supports Yamaha’s “Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X” application by using you can connect your smartphone with the bike via Bluetooth.
So the Yamaha FZS FI is powered by the same 149 cc 4-stroke, single cylinder, air cooled, fuel injected BS6 motor which is also there in the regular FZ. This engine puts out 122 bhp of power and 13.6 Nm of torque. And the engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
The bike also retains the features which are there in the regular bike which includes single channel ABS, negative LCD instrument cluster, engine under cowl, LED headlight, telescopic front and mono-shock rear suspension setup etc.
The Yamaha FZS FI gets 282 mm front and 220 mm rear disc brakes which are mated with 17 inch front and rear wheels. The front wheel size is 100/80-17 and the rear wheel size is 140/60-R17. These tyres offers amazing grip around the corners and they are tubeless radial tyres.
The bike weighs just 137 kgs. The bike has 1,990 mm length, 780 mm width, 1,080 mm height, 1,330 mm wheelbase, 160 mm ground clearance, 790 mm seat height and the bike is under pinned by a Diamond Frame Chassis.
